A scoping study for Maniry in 2019 estimated a 10-year operation with an initial capex of US$41 million, an NPV (post-tax, 10%) at $78.4 million and IRR at 35.4%.
A definitive feasibility study is slated for 2022 and Maniry is expected to be in production in 2023. BlackEarth has a binding offtake agreement for expandable graphite with a European buyer and arrangements in place covering Maniry's refractory and battery-grade graphite potential.
In Western Australia, the company is exploring its Donnelly River nickel-copper-platinum group elements project.
