Executive Outcomes: Energia, Bullabulling and more

Robinson was executive chairman of base metal producer Kagara for 12 years until February 2011 and was non-executive chairman until last month.

He remains on the board of Kagara.

Robinson is also non-executive chairman of Apex Minerals and a director of Carbon Energy but will step down from both roles in the coming months.

Energia has been without an MD for some time now, following the sudden departure of Keren Paterson in October 2011.

New entity Bullabulling Gold has appointed Ampella Mining chairman Peter Mansell as chairman.

Mansell holds directorships in other companies including Belgian metals company Nyrstar and China’s Hanlong Mining.

Nigel Clark has resigned as a director of Bullabulling.

Brendan James has resigned as chief executive officer and director of uranium hopeful Berkeley Resources for personal reasons.

Chartered surveyor and management consultant Robert McCauley has been appointed as executive chairman and MD of Capital Mining and will immediately begin an audit and review of the company’s assets.

Meng Tian is no longer a director of the company.

Junior gold producer Focus Minerals has appointed Paul Fromson as chief financial officer and company secretary, replacing Jon Grygorcewicz who resigned.

Fromson was most recently CFO and company secretary of Bauxite Resources.

Xstrata subsidiary Sphere Minerals has appointed former Norton Gold Fields MD Jon Parker as a non-executive director.

Meanwhile, Tony Ford has joined Sherwin Iron as a director.

Lawyer Jonathan Hart has been appointed as an executive director of Copper Range.

Royal Resources has appointed Tony Heslop as company secretary, replacing Frank DeMarte who resigned from the role but remained a director of the company.

Finally, Ella Wong has resigned as company secretary (Hong Kong) of Galaxy Resources due to other business commitments.

Galaxy confirmed it would no longer seek a Hong Kong listing and Andrew Meloncelli would continue as the company’s full-time company secretary.
