Platinum gains on Angloplats strike threat

SPOT platinum prices have risen to a 15-month high, hitting US$540 an ounce in Asian trading, after workers at Anglo American Platinum's precious metals refinery said they would go ahead with a strike in a dispute over a medical scheme.
