Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner

Our client is an established gold producer in Western Australia. On behalf of this client, MPi are seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner to join their team.

In this position, you will report to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent and primarily be responsible for all routine maintenance activities to make sure the work progresses on schedule in a safe, organised, timely and cost efficient manner.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Producing weekly and monthly maintenance plans and schedules
  • Ensuring all resources, parts, equipment and tooling is organised and available for all maintenance work and shutdowns
  • Coordinating preventative maintenance and inspection schedules into weekly and daily master maintenance schedules
  • Liaising with external contractors and equipment suppliers

To be considered, you must hold:

  • A minimum 5 years’ practical experience in a maintenance environment, preferably in a continuous operating mineral processing plant
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with computer-based maintenance planning/scheduling systems
  • A recognized trade background in a related discipline (electrical or mechanical)
  • A current Drivers Licence
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office, Pronto or similar CMMS
  • Good written and oral communication skills
