ResourceStocks

Sheffield Resources has completed funding Thunderbird, its Western Australian ilmenite and zircon project and has made a final investment decision. The mineral sand project, a joint venture with Chinese steel producer Yansteel, is the largest zircon resource under development globally.

Contracts for mining services and energy have also been signed, and the project is now forging ahead toward completing construction and beginning production, Sheffield's executive chair Bruce Griffin explains.
