Gold Forum a ghost town as delegates stay away

A FEW weeks before the 2021 Gold Forum Americas, <i>MNN</i> sister publication <i>Mining Journal</i> visited a number of gold exploration sites in southern Nevada. The sight of so many ghost towns on my journey acted as a reminder as to the impermanence of what we do. I experienced a similar feeling sitting in the Broadmoor Hotel convention centre in Colorado Springs, Colorado, during last week's Gold Forum Americas event.
