Mining Journals Tom Hoskyns speaks to President and CEO Michael Rowley about Group Ten Metals flagship Stillwater West project.
Group Ten Metals (TSX.V: PGE) is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on the development of its core asset: the Stillwater West PGE-Ni-Cu project adjacent to Sibanye-Stillwater's high-grade PGE mines in Montana, USA.
The company sees the potential to become a large-scale source of low-carbon nickel and copper sulphide, enriched in palladium, platinum, rhodium, gold and cobalt, in a premier US district that already hosts a smelter-refinery complex, and the highest-grade palladium platinum mines in the world.
The company is anticipated near-term publication of an inaugural 43-101 resource estimate and currently conducting a drill program with results expected to form the basis of an updated resource in early 2022.
Group Ten also holds the highly prospective Kluane PGE-Ni-Cu project on trend with Nickel Creek Platinum‘s Wellgreen deposit in Canada‘s Yukon Territory, and the high-grade Black Lake-Drayton Gold project in the Rainy River district of northwest Ontario.
