Through the deal INX gets Vix's SAM product, which is designed to help companies run their fly-in, fly-out operations more efficiently.
INX makes Inflight, which is a rostering and travel management solution for the resources industry globally.
Buying VIX and its SAM product boosts INX's offering for remote workforce logistics management.
Post-acquisition, Vix's clients will have direct access to an expanded and integrated solution platform encompassing not only workforce logistics management but also health and safety, training, and environmental compliance.
The combined group will also have a wider geographical footprint with the addition of the Vix's Queensland masthead location.
INX CEO Basil Lenzo said it was the belief of both companies that their customers would benefit from the amalgamation.
"Our combined expertise and experiences will drive the innovation and delivery of a cutting-edge workforce logistics management solution for the mining and resources industry," he said.
"We have amazing people across both organisations and we acknowledge that the people are the greatest asset of our merged entity.
"I am very pleased to have the Vix Resources team on board and I look forward to working with them to ensure continuity for their existing clients."
