Work under the new contract will be completed concurrently with the project’s processing facilities.

GR last month won the $114 million contract for the design and construction of the mineral processing and paste fill plant.

“Together with work already contracted, GR has now secured works of approximately $126 million for the Nova nickel project,” GR managing director Geoff Jones said.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Sirius and to playing our part in the successful development of this important project.”

Along with the Nova work, Jones said GR was looking for other opportunities in Australia and overseas, including further consulting and study work.

GR shares were up 0.4% to 92c this afternoon.
