The contract will be managed by CPL, Cimeco and PLWA’s joint venture formed to manage the relationship and any projects jointly undertaken by the companies.

CPL will be able to tender for more work providing civil, mechanical and electrical instrumentation services in the state’s busy iron ore sector.

PLWA’s majority shareholder, Geoff Stocker is a recognised leader in the training, mentoring and supporting of local indigenous men and women in the Pilbara.

Forge acknowledged BHP’s encouragement to team up with PLWA and said it was pleased to be associated with a company such as PLWA which has such standing in the indigenous community.

Forge shares dropped 13c to $6.07.
