AMEC may also pay a further $14 million over three years, subject to stretching profit targets.

Unidel employs 260 people to service the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors and has experience in projects involving gas field exploration, development, production, transmission, water pipelines and coal seam gas.

AMEC said the acquisition built the company’s presence in Australia to around 1500 employees and expanded its capabilities to service customers in the oil and gas, minerals, metals and clean energy markets.
