The company was awarded primary and secondary service provider status at BHP’s Mt Whaleback, Jimblebar and Eastern Ridge mine sites and secondary status at the Yandi and Mining Area C mine sites.
Under the contracts, Lend Lease will provide mechanical, electrical and scaffolding services.
The Services division also secured a two-year extension to its scaffolding contract with BHP at Port Hedland.
The contracts will be supported by Lend Lease’s Pilbara engineering design and fabrication workshops in Port Hedland and Newman.
Lend Lease Services executive director Ashley Mason said the contracts built on the existing relationship between the companies.
“We have provided electrical, mechanical, scaffolding and shutdown services to BHP Billiton mine sites in the Pilbara for more than 15 years,” Mason said.
“This is an excellent result for our business in what is a very competitive environment at the present.”
Lend Lease’s Services division is part of its Construction & Infrastructure business.
