Yabulu cranks up

CONSTRUCTION of QNI's $450 million Yabulu nickel and cobalt refinery expansion in Townsville, north Queensland, officially kicked off yesterday, on schedule for a late-2006 completion. The plant will process product from parent company BHP Billiton's new Ravensthorpe mine in Western Australia.
