BlueScope slashes jobs in major restructure

BLUESCOPE Steel has confirmed it is axing at least 1000 jobs after reporting a net loss of more than $A1 billion for the last 12 months, a further sign the mining boom hasn’t filtered through to the domestic steel manufacturing sector.
