Strip and rebuild extends loader life

FOLLOWING a complete strip and rebuild, a LeTourneau L-1400 wheel loader is back at work at the Mt Thorley Operations open cut mine in the NSW Hunter Valley. Expectations are that the refurbishment will extend the life of the machine by about 30,000 hours for half the cost of a new machine.
