Leighton's mining revenue jumps

AUSTRALIA'S largest contracting company Leighton Holdings has enjoyed a 7% increase in revenue for the 2003 financial year to $5.62 billion with the mining and resources sector the largest contributor at $1.52 billion.

Leighton's revenue from work within the resources sector was up 52% on the previous year coinciding with a 23% jump for work in hand to $3.03 billion, almost a third of the $9.7 billion in overall contracts....
