The funding will provide vital support to the Shire of Esperance COVID-19 Community Recovery Plan and the Shire of Dundas Bushfire Recovery Plan.
Nova haulage was impacted in January by bushfires.
IGO will donate $150,000 to the Esperance COVID-19 Community Recovery Plan and $100,000 to the Shire of Dundas Bushfire Recovery Plan.
As well as being affected by the bushfires, IGO noted the Esperance community had to deal unprecedented impacts to the local tourism industry as a result of COVID-19.
"At IGO, our purpose, ‘Making a Difference', drives our approach to delivering value and care," IGO managing director and CEO Peter Bradford said.
"We are privileged to be part of the Norseman and Esperance communities and value the relationships that we have formed. We are therefore proud to be able to contribute and we hope this financial support will enable our local communities to recover after what has been an incredibly difficult start to the year."
Shire of Dundas president Laurene Bonza said IGO's contribution was incredibly generous.
