Northern Star mine to be suspended over seismic shocks

THE East Kundana Joint Venture, led by Northern Star Resources (51%), has confirmed the Raleigh underground mine will be placed on care and maintenance in April after a "significant seismic response following the firing of stoping panels" in the south of the mine rendered it unsafe.
