Barrick flags $5.5B Pascua-Lama impairment

IN the wake of challenging market conditions, Barrick Gold has delayed the start-up of its $US8.5 billion ($A9.3 billion) Pascua-Lama project by as long as two years, while flagging a $4.5-5.5 billion write-down of the troubled project.
