Powell was most recently BDM for Barrick’s Australia-Pacific division, based in Perth.

UXA Resources has appointed two new directors as it looks to expand its exploration services subsidiary GAA Wireline.

Senior Aurecon executive Scott McKay and former Sclumberger manager David Sutich have been appointed to the board.

Finally, David Stokes has resigned as company secretary of Gindalbie Metals.

The company said it would appoint Karara Mining company secretary Chris Gerrard as his replacement in the coming months but Ian Gregory would act as company secretary in the meantime.
