Nominations open for awards

MINES and Money Hong Kong is calling for nominations for the 2015 Asian Mining Awards.

Categories for the awards are:

  • Asian Country Award
  • Asian Exploration Award
  • Asian Corporate Development Award
  • Asian Small and Mid-Cap Deal of the Year
  • Asian Large Cap Deal of the Year
  • Asian Chief Executive of the Year
  • Asian Fund Manager of the Year
  • Asian Lifetime Achievement Award

Asia includes Australasia and stretches eastward to Turkey.

The nominees will be shortlisted and judged by industry figures from the Mines and Money Hong Kong advisory board, which includes MiningNews.net editor Kristie Batten.

Last year’s winners included Fortescue Metals Group and Panoramic Resources.

Mines and Money Hong Kong will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from March 23-27.

The awards will be handed out at a gala dinner on March 26.

As of last month, bookings for this year’s event were tracking ahead of last year and more than 2500 delegates are expected to attend.
