GMZ yields 'exceptional' uranium drill hole for 92 Energy

More assays awaited ahead of winter drill campaign at discovery in Canada

The stock gained as much as 27% on strong volumes as assays from six of 21 drill holes was reported.

The company made the point GMZ mineralisation was discovered as shallow as 60m, down to at least 210m and, thus far at least, over an area of 220m by 200m.

It also said there was 1.8km of additional prospective "structural trend" to the north.

92 Energy plans geophysical work to follow once all assays have been received over the next month or two.

Following that a winter drill campaign is anticipated.

92 Energy raised A$8.7 million in equity last quarter when it issued new shares priced at 78c.

Shares in 92 Energy were up 17% to 51.5c in late trade, capitalising it at $45 million.
