The hits at 223 North were headlined by 10m grading 3.65 grams per tonne gold from 51m.
Barton believes the zone has another 1km of potential.
The 223 North zone is about 500m from the 26.1 million tonnes grading 1.15gpt 223 deposit contained over a 2.5km strike length.
Further results are expected in "coming weeks".
The company has been studying and working in the central Gawler Craton for more than two years.
Barton listed in June after a A$15 million IPO that issued new shares priced at 25c each.
Shares in Barton were at 17.5c this week, capitalising the company at $31 million.
