The 6m grading 32 grams per tonne gold from 4m was recorded on Predictive's Koundian ground, 115km east northeast of the company's flagship Bankan exploration project.

According to Predictive, "with some artisanal sites extending over several kilometres and containing very limited bedrock outcrop, there is excellent potential for the discovery of a new continuously mineralised gold system".

Power auger drilling is now complete for the current field season.

"Once all results are received and subject to access during the upcoming rainy season, the company will undertake closer spaced, low-cost auger drilling programs to more closely define the anomalous areas in preparation for deeper drilling later in the year," Predictive said.

Earlier this month Predictive unveiled a A$26.5 million institutional placement pricing new shares at 8c each.

Shares in Predictive were up 15% to 10.5c in early trade, capitalising the company at $106 million.
