AVL doubles high-grade resources

AUSTRALIAN Vanadium has doubled resources at the high-grade core of its namesake project at Gabanintha, near Meekatharra, Western Australia, setting up improved potential for the initial phases of the mine, and potentially extending the mine life.

The distinct high-grade magnetite zone increased by 115% to 25.1Mt at 1.1% vanadium pentoxide, while the high-grade portion is now 87.9Mt at 1.06%, with a measured resource of 10.1Mt at 1.14%.   The...
