The boost includes a 114% increase in the overall ounces at the Abujar Gludehi deposit, which now contains 26.4Mt for 1.38Moz, with the high-grade core of 15.7Mt at 2.1gpt for 1.06Moz.

 

The smaller Abujar Pischon‐Golikro deposit, located 5km to the south, contains an inferred 11.2Mt at 1gpt for 350,000oz.

 

The last resource estimate in 2016 was 703,600oz. It had been targeting 2Moz.

 

The company has more than doubled resources just over a year after its January 2018 IPO.

 

The junior is convinced it can grow the project further given it had only explored 10% of its 70km mineralised corridor, and plans 20,000m of diamond drilling using its own rigs to support further resource upgrades later in the year.

 

Its initial targets are below untested massive artisanal workings immediately north and south of Abujar Gludehi, where it can be reasonably confident of success.

 

Additional holes will test the gap between its two deposits, plus stepback holes will test for depth extensions of high‐grade shoots discovered since November.

 

The junior's shares were steady at A20c this morning, close to a 52-week high. It opened the year with $3.3 million cash.
