Sampling results of up to 4.67% lithium oxide were recorded from rock chips picked up immediately north of a lithium area previously auger drilled.

Mapping and sampling of the 1300 metre long anomaly is now planned.

Maximus has a 75% stake in the project, with fellow ASX junior Pioneer Resources holding the balance.

Maximus shares were up 33% to A0.4c in early trade, capitalising the company at $4 million.

Aside from Larkinville, Maximus has other lithium exploration ground and is also the owner of a gold processing facility near Coolgardie – called Burbanks and acquired earlier this month with payments totalling $2 million required over the next four years.
