Guelb el Aouj set for development

IN A major step towards development of the Guelb el Aouj iron ore plant in Mauritania, Sphere Investments and its partner in the project, Societe Nationale Industrielle et Miniere, have signed a memorandum of understanding with two Middle Eastern industrial companies to jointly develop the project with the aim of first direct reduction pellet production by 2010.
