IGF passes 100,000 ounces

INTERNATIONAL Goldfields has brought the global resource estimate for its wholly-owned Mt Ida gold project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields to just over 100,000 ounces of gold, after estimating a maiden inferred resource of 36,250 ounces for the Meteor and Whinnen lodes combined.

Meteor is inferred to contain 60,100 tonnes grading 16.5 grams per tonne for 31,900 contained ounces, while Whinnen contains 8200 inferred tonnes at 16.6gpt for 4350oz. IGL states the figures are JORC-compliant....
