South32 shifts BD to Canada

SOUTH32 chief development officer Simon Collins, a key figure in the company’s US$1.3 billion acquisition of Arizona Mining and its Hermosa zinc-lead-silver project in the US, has told the Diggers & Dealers conference in Western Australia the company would continue to ramp up its focus on the Americas through joint ventures with juniors and project generation a la the model it is pursuing with North Queensland Resources in Australia.
