The AMEC Convention is organised by the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) Australia’s most successful body for the mineral exploration and mining industry. As a not-for-profit organisation, AMEC organises the Convention for the benefit of its members and the industry.

The theme for the AMEC Convention 2017 is “Driving the next cycle”. It will discuss how to use the lessons from the past to shape the mineral resources sector into the 21st century. The Convention will also “Showcase the Industry” and bring together key industry professionals for networking and information sharing opportunities at this two day event.
