Starting next week, MNN's experienced editorial team - in conjunction with the awards' expert external judges - will starts crunching through your nominations and available data to help us come up with a shortlist of nominees for the 2018 Explorer of the Year, CEO of the Year, New/Emerging Leader of the Year, and Deal and/or Merger of the Year.
We'll start profiling nominees at the beginning of July and announce winners later in the month.
In the meantime, we'd like to get your views on who should win these prestigious awards, and why.
You can nominate yourself or your company, a colleague, a client or just a company or individual you admire.
Last year's winners were Westgold Resources' Peter Cook (CEO of the Year), OZ Minerals' Andrew Cole (New/Emerging Leader of the Year), Gold Road Resources (Deal and/or Merger of the Year) and West African Resources (Explorer of the Year).
The judges had the tough task of whittling down more than 100 nominations into just 4-6 nominees for each category.
To recap, these are the only annual awards recognising leadership in four major categories handed out by Australia's premier independent mining investment news service. As the leading impartial news service with the biggest investor and industry based audience, MNN ensures winners of its Annual Awards for Excellence get maximum exposure among both their industry peers, and investors.
