China's pragmatism beats principles in energy crisis: WoodMac

THE energy crisis in China could force spot thermal coal prices to around US$280 per tonne in the near-term, at the same time as driving greater investment in renewables for medium-to-long-term energy requirements, according to Wood Mackenzie Asia Pacific vice chair Gavin Thompson.
