Resolute chips in for diversity

Resolute Mining is the inaugural sponsor of the WASM Alumni Gender Diversity Scholarship.

The successful student will receive $A30,000 over three years to support tuition.

The recipient will also be offered vacation work with Resolute and be provided with mentoring opportunities.

"Resolute is seeking someone who is passionate about science, technology, engineering and maths

(STEM) and the mining industry and wants to give back and encourage the next generation of young women into STEM," the company said.

 

The Gender Diversity Scholarship is a first for the WA School of Mines Alumni, but it provides other scholarships and assistance to students.
