WA to tighten AN laws

LAWS in Western Australia regarding the transport of ammonium nitrate (AN) are set to tighten as the state prepares to fall in line with the rest of the country. Last month, the WA Government closed the public consultation period for proposed changes to its Dangerous Goods Safety legislation, which are designed to improve counter-terrorism controls.
