Intierra Spotlight: Issues Paper has a long way to go

SPOTLIGHT knows that it takes time to conceive, test and implement good legislation. The Issues Paper, the Gillard government’s first step to get the MRRT founded after its collaboration with BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto and Xstrata, suggests on that basis there is some way to go. However, the deadline is October 28, 2010, for submissions. This is hasty indeed for Australia’s most successful industry.
