EV sales fall puts pressure on battery metals

AN overview of the electric vehicle market by S&P Global Market Intelligence analyst Alice Yu has forecast global passenger plug-in vehicle sales to decline by almost 6% over 2020, as sales for all vehicles in China fall, more than offsetting sales growth in the European Union, with knock-on impacts for lithium and cobalt miners.
