Gold patch gives up some of yesterday's gain

A SOFTER gold price didn’t help the patch which fell about 1.5%. Leader Auteco is having a crack in Canada, while laggards included Evolution Mining (after it reported a big capital spend over the next few years), and Bellevue, which has been bid-up in recent trading sessions.
