Gold miners drag on market

THE ASX started the day stronger, following the lead from advances in Europe and on Wall Street on the hopes of a COVID-19 vaccine in early 2021, but that optimistic mood quickly tanked, and the bourse spent the afternoon in negative territory, plunging below 6000 points.
