The miner’s Chatree operation in Thailand produced 18,679 ounces last month, as it heads towards closure this month.

The closure is a function of a directive from Thai authorities earlier this year.

There has been a slight hint in recent weeks that this decision could be changed, though Kingsgate has been operating Chatree as a mine closure scenario for much of 2016.
