Kagara posts impressive H1 profit

HIGHER metal production from its wholly-owned Mt Garnet operations in north Queensland and strong commodity prices propelled Kagara Zinc to a record net profit of $38.9 million for the half-year ended December 31, 2006, increasing sharply from $5.4 million in previous corresponding period.
