Bourse bounces back

A LOWER-than-expected CPI figure wasn’t enough to dampen spirits on the Australian Securities Exchange today with the bourse shrugging off early losses to close its fourth consecutive session higher. Meanwhile, the mining majors bounced back from yesterday’s losses despite an overnight slip in base metals.
