Exploration manager Phil Clifford has been promoted to technical director.

Richard Beazley has resigned as MD of Peak Resources.

Technical director David Hammond will assume the MD’s duties, while Alastair Hunter will act as executive chairman.

Terry Streeter has resigned as a director of Midas Resources, while Dr Derek Fisher has joined the board.

In an effort to save funds, Venturex Resources have restructured the full-time roles of company secretary/chief financial officer and chief operating officer, leading to the departure of Liza Carpene and Ian Suckling.

Trevor Hart has been appointed as company secretary on a part-time consulting basis.

Boart Longyear CFO Joseph Ragan III will leave the company.

Russell Caplan will replace Peter Duncan as chairman of Orica, while Maxine Brenner has been appointed to the board.

Amex Resources has appointed Xianwen Chen as iron ore specialist-technical and marketing.

Former BCD Resources boss Peter Thompson has agreed to consult to Central Asia Resources for three months with a view to become MD at the end of the period.

Harry Spindler also has joined Central Asia as company secretary.



Finally, Farlee Walker has been appointed as company secretary of Stratum Metals.
