US stocks up, metals down

COMMODITIES were down overnight as Wall Street extended gains.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.1% at 14,840 points, while the S&P 500 improved 0.2% to 1638 points and the NASDAQ gained 0.7% to 3620. Shares in Toronto, however, fell 1.1% to 12,704 points....
