Goldcorp shareholders to receive gold price windfall

THE owner of the richest gold mine in the world, Canada's Goldcorp, is to increase the dividend payments to its owners to a total of US18 cents per share per annum following rises in the gold price.

Shareholders were to receive US15 cents this year from six bimonthly payments, but they'll now get an additional two US1.5 cent payments. From 2004 shareholders will get monthly dividends of US1.5 cents....
