Firestone raises cash for new projects

UK-BASED producer Firestone Diamonds anticipates the first diamonds from its Bonte Koe mine in Namaqualand next month, and is hoping to raise GBP1.4 million through an AIM placing to institutional investors to finance the purchase and development of new exploration projects in South Africa.
