Coppabella moves towards owner-operator status

MACARTHUR Coal's Coppabella and Moorvale Joint Venture has made its first move toward becoming an owner-operator at the Coppabella mine, acquiring mining equipment and supporting systems owned by site contractor, Peter Champion Mining (PCM), for $A42.4 million.
