Tanzanian project acquisition boosts Mantra

INVESTORS have pulled Mantra Resources’ share price up almost 10% in morning trade after the junior uranium explorer announced it had entered into a joint venture agreement to purchase a 90% interest in the Mbamba Bay uranium exploration project in the Karoo-age basin in Tanzania.

The stock gained 8c to 98c in morning trade. Mantra said the JV, which was with a Tanzanian partner, would explore for and develop uranium and other mineral deposits on the sole tenement in the project...
