Macarthur and Citic strengthen ties

QUEENSLAND coal magnate Ken Talbot has begun selling down his stake in Macarthur Coal, offloading a share of his stake to China's CITIC Resources Australia for $A112.9 million just days after his formal resignation from the miner.
