Rio spends up at Bingham Canyon

MINING giant Rio Tinto has announced a $US660 million ($A647.6 million) investment over the next seven years to extend the life of its already massive Kennecott Utah Copper Bingham Canyon copper mine in Salt Lake City by 11 years to 2029.
